divorce care

So I get these divorce emails everyday. Some of them are pretty good. Here's some good parts from today's:
Restoration: If you were brought to a hospital with a serious injury, you would want the best doctors, the best specialists, the best care you could get to help you recover. While there, you might have to make some hard choices. The doctors might tell you that it takes painful surgery to help in your healing. That's a choice you'd likely agree to.
This scenario can be compared to your divorce situation. You did not choose to be injured through divorce, but it happened. Now, you want the best care possible in your recovery. The best restorative care may involve pain, rest, rehabilitation, and a long recovery time. . . .
God is the Great Physician. He will restore you if you choose to accept His care.
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak" (Isaiah 40:28-29).

I've been 'babysitting' the past 2 days. I used to watch this boy when he was 2.5 through 7. Now he's 14 and a foot taller than me. Crazy! There's nothing like a kid's homework to make you feel super dumb. I had no idea what the geometry homework was even asking me- and then he was converting units like kg to microns and I could not remember those either. And I did have that class last year! Anyway, it's kinda fun being 'mom'/big sister/friend.... and driving fancy cars... :)
I'm going to be MIA for a week. I'm going to be on vacation with my brother (and his wife) and sister (and her bf). SOOOO looking forward to seeing them and a 'break' from life. I haven't seen my sister in an entire year. Which is waaay too long when you've had such a rough one like this one has been. So I'm really looking forward to good family times.
