Visit from Kentucky Jill

My friend Jill came to visit me this weekend. Actually Wednesday night through Sunday. My boss was nice enough to let me have Thursday and Friday off and we had a great time together. (I call her Kentucky Jill because I have another friend Jill and people didn't know which one I was referring to. She's not a country bumpkin or anything!) Our visit was really relaxing. We slept in, watched Ellen, exercised together and then did whatever. She came to book club with me, we Salvation Army shopped, visited a friend at work and walked around Detroit, watched movies, walked, hung out at a friend's, went to church, went and had lunch with my parents, good times.

me with my target (that's not the real gun I used, the gun store guy thought it'd be funny to pose me with a $15k machine gun!) I'm so thankful that God has blessed me with such good friends. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!" Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light.” ― Helen Keller

  1. That sounds like so much fun! I have always wanted to go to a shooting range. And you did amazing! Great pics, looks you guys had a blast!

I found level 2 to be harder than level 3, but mostly because I just really hate planks and struggled through the first interval A LOT. But I am so sore it hurts to walk today so level 3 must be working haha. Oh! And I found a huge Salvation Army on M-59 about ten miles from my house that we must check out! And I heard there is an awesome one in Utica we should try out. I'm addicted to SA now, haha!

And yes, my blogger changed formats and I. HATE. IT. Grrrr!
